Former Law Students

Justine Bedasse

Justine Bedasse completed her summer term and placement with Rayman Harris LLP from May - December 2023. She is part of the class of 2024 completing her Juris Doctor at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. Justine completed her undergraduate degree at McMaster University in Anthropology and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Her interest in understanding society, human behaviour and conflict played a role in her decision to study and practice the law.

Justine hopes to build a career in litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) to compliment her demonstrated passion for dispute resolution and oral advocacy. She was an avid participant in the inter-collegiate debate circuit during her time at McMaster as both a debater and a judge and served as a Vice President of the McMaster Debating Society for two years. In law school, Justine has continued to sharpen her oral advocacy skills. She was a finalist in the Lincoln Alexander Cup Negotiation Competition and the Hicks Morley Labour and Employment Moot. She was also selected to represent the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at the 2023 Canadian National Negotiation Competition in Montreal, Quebec.

Justine was awarded the De Francesca Real Estate Law Award for her outstanding academic performance.
