On February 6-7, 2025, the Ontario Bar Association hosted the Ontario Legal Conference: Municipal, Planning and Environmental Law. Sarah Spitz, with co-presenter Irene Wong of Scargall Owen-King LLP, presented a Case Law Update on Expropriation Law, which reviewed recent case law to understand the emerging trends in this ever-changing area of law.

On February 2-6, 2023, the 40th annual conference on Eminent Domain and Land Valuation Litigation was hosted by the American Law Institute CLE. The conference was held in Austin, Texas and included presentations on various substantive and procedural issues with presenters from across the United States. Shane Rayman and Brynn Leger attended on behalf of Rayman Harris, as the only Canadian law firm in attendance.
