Conner Harris has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Toronto Lawyers Association. Conner will serve as a member of the Advocacy Committee and the Membership Committee for the 2023-2024 year.

Leah Cummings served as Chair of the Communications and Recruitment Committee for the moot for the second year. Conner Harris served as a volunteer judge for the moot.

On February 9-10, 2023, the Ontario Bar Association hosted the Ontario Legal Conference: Municipal, Planning and Environmental Law. Sarah Spitz, with co-presenter Irene Wong of Scargall Owen-King LLP, presented a Case Law Update on Expropriation Law, which reviewed recent case law to understand the emerging trends in this ever-changing area of law.
