Conner Harris appointed to Board of Directors for Toronto Lawyers Association
Conner Harris has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Toronto Lawyers Association. Conner will serve as a member of the Advocacy Committee and the Membership Committee for the 2023-2024 year.

On February 9-10, 2023, the Ontario Bar Association hosted the Ontario Legal Conference: Municipal, Planning and Environmental Law. Sarah Spitz, with co-presenter Irene Wong of Scargall Owen-King LLP, presented a Case Law Update on Expropriation Law, which reviewed recent case law to understand the emerging trends in this ever-changing area of law.
Shane Rayman presents at the ALI-CLE Eminent Domain Conference in Austin, Texas
On February 2-6, 2023, the 40th annual conference on Eminent Domain and Land Valuation Litigation was hosted by the American Law Institute CLE. The conference was held in Austin, Texas and included presentations on various substantive and procedural issues with presenters from across the United States. Shane Rayman and Brynn Leger attended on behalf of Rayman Harris, as the only Canadian law firm in attendance.

Shane Rayman Awarded the CRE® Credential from The Counselors of Real Estate®
Shane Rayman and Conner Harris present on the topic of “Property Rights in a State of Emergency” at the Ontario Expropriation Association’s Spring Conference on June 17, 2020. The Conference proceeds online via WebEx and features experts speaking about the impact that COVID-19 has had on the expropriation world. In preparation for this presentation, Shane and Conner have co-authored a paper on the topic entitled, “Liberty in the Time of COVID-19”, which can be read in full at the link below.
