Leah Cummings and Conner Harris assist with Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Law Moot
On March 2-3, 2023, the Third Annual Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Law Moot took place, with teams of students from law schools across the country participating in a two-day bilingual moot focusing on issues of procedural fairness and admissibility of evidence. Leah Cummings served as Chair of the Communications and Recruitment Committee for the moot for the second year. Conner Harris served as a volunteer judge for the moot. Rayman Harris congratulates all participants for their hard work and impressive advocacy skills. Congratulations to all the award winners and, in particular, to the finalist teams Thompson Rivers University (Kimia Shiri and Salman Abbasi) and Queen’s Law (Zahraa Chahrour and Levon Mouradian).
