On February 2-6, 2023, the 40th annual conference on Eminent Domain and Land Valuation Litigation was hosted by the American Law Institute CLE. The conference was held in Austin, Texas and included presentations on various substantive and procedural issues with presenters from across the United States. Shane Rayman and Brynn Leger attended on behalf of Rayman Harris, as the only Canadian law firm in attendance.

Along with panelist Sarah Kellner, this panel explored the role of apprenticeship in the legal profession and how being a good mentor and advocate for your team leads to better client, firm, and professional success. Mentoring also requires being a good and inspiring leader who can foster professionalism within their organization through engaging in and learning about ethical lawyering.
