Conner Harris successfully obtains award of $2.8million for clients at Local Planning Appeal Tribunal

Jason Beitchman and Conner Harris were successful in representing local landowners at the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) to obtain compensation of $2.8million, plus 6% interest dating back to 1997, from the City of Windsor who had expropriated their property. Mr. Beitchman and Mr. Harris had previously represented these landowners as the case was appealed up to the Ontario Court of Appeal from an earlier LPAT decision. The matter was sent back to a new hearing at LPAT. This decision from that new hearing is a resounding success for the landowners, who have been fighting for the fair compensation for their land taken for over a decade. Read more
